I'm always on a mission to find healthy meals for my family. While out shopping I try to get high-quality products and organic vegetables whenever possible.

Finding the right meats is also important. I want a good cut of meat that isn't pumped full of antibiotics or added preservatives. So when I got the opportunity to try Keystone Meats I was delighted of course. Keystone Meats provides fully cooked beef, chicken, pork, and Turkey that has no passed preservatives artificial ingredients, and use USDA choice meat.

Using the canned Keystone chicken I made a healthy and hearty slow cooker Chicken Noodle Soup. Here is the recipe that Keystone offers! I just added a little twist because I love cooking with my slow cooker.

For the slow cooker recipe, I added some celery and used different noodles. Add all the ingredients into the slow cooker, minus the noodles, and place it on high. Wait until celery and carrots are soft then add noodles and let cook on low for 10 minutes, or until the noodles are fully cooked. Add salt and pepper to desired taste.

This is an easy and tasty meal for the entire family!

Keystone also offers other delicious recipes on their website that you can try as well. What a tasty way to start the New Year off right.
Here are some other great recipes you may want to try out.

  3. One of our favorite healthy foods is turkey. In fact I made a turkey breast yesterday. Turkey isnt just for Holidays. It is healthy and oftentimes is priced very reasonably. You can me so many dishes with it and it is low fat and of course great protein.

  15. My favorite healthy foods are usually things that can be eaten in a healthy way or unhealthy way. Chicken is a great example. If you put lightly seasoned chicken on rice or pasta, it can be very healthy, but you can also eat it in a way that will take years off your life!!
