Just For Men Hair Color Review

So this is my hubby! He wasn't happy when I told him that he had a mass amount of grey hair. All he kept telling me was "I don't have no grey, shuddup.I got em from you"! With his handsome pout face HaHa 

So when I got the chance to try the Just For Men free, I took advantage of the opportunity! My husband on the other hand wasn't all that thrilled. He has never used any hair color on his hair before.

Here is what his hair and face looked like before we used the Just For Men product.



Yes his hair is longer then mine! I love it! But look at all those grey hairs "I gave him" HaHa

The bottle was small and with his long hair it needed at least two bottles. I tried just doing the roots and not the entire mass of hair he has. One bottle is all we had. The Just For Men is targeted mainly for men with short hair, which is the norm. You don't see men with long hair very often so I can't complain to much about the size of the bottle. For a "normal" man the bottle size is perfect!

And so it began!



I really liked the fact that the Just For Men offers an insider points program to earn coupons, ect. You get more then just the product! These kinds of rewards programs are great for those who dye their hair often and can save you a lot of money!



The product states that it only takes about five minutes to work. With as long as my husbands hair is we waited a few extra minutes. The hair on his face was a bit thicker so seemed to take even longer to work.

Although it did not get all the grey from his facial hair, it did an outstanding job! The color matched pretty well, little darker then his normal color, and made him even more handsome then he already was....yes i'm a little biased in that aspect!

So my review! When mixing the color ingredients, it didn't have an overpowering smell you normally get with hair dyes. So that was a plus. The color matched very well but if purchasing I would suggest going a step lighter then your normal hair color, as the color match for my husband made his darker. Although it did not get all the grey from his facial hair, I think the product did a great job. It was very simple to use. I just had to add one bottle into the other and shake it. The box came with everything I needed to dye my husbands hair.  As for comparing to other products, I am unable to compare any dye's for the men as we have not used any other product.

My husband told me that if he were to dye his hair again he would definitely use the Just For Men and recommends it!

I handed my VIP coupons to 3 friends who are avid coffee drinkers like me!

I Haven't used an instant coffee in a long time because I don't have a lot of time to heat up the water and go through the process of making a cup of coffee. Now that I have my Keurig, it makes life soooo much easier! I just turn on the switch and it does the rest for me!

To sample this I just added the amount that I wanted in my cup, placed it under the Keurig and let the hot water run into the cup! The recommended amount to put in 1 cup is 2 Tablespoons. I like my coffee strong so I added a bit more!

I chose the French Vanilla flavor because I truly love the taste of it! But there are others such as Hazelnut and Original.

I liked how smooth it was and how well it blended in the water. It didn't clump like some creamers might. I only had to stir a few times.



It tasted really good but it didn't seem to be as stout as I like it. ( I need a lot of caffeine lol ) No not really but I do like my coffee to be strong and this just didn't give me that much needed kick like my normal coffee did. So I made my normal cup of coffee and added the 2 Tablespoons of the Nescafe with Coffee-Mate to it! That did it!! I didn't have to add sugar or creamer to my coffee and this is how i drink it now every morning!

Easy Off Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner Review

I originally wanted to get the Fume Free because i have pets and a child in the house. But the Walmart didn't have it in stock at the time of purchase. So I had to get The Heavy Duty.



I have purchased the Easy Off brand in the past, and liked it, but because of my budget, have recently only purchased the more frugal brand.

With the holidays in full gear i'm sure that many of you are baking sweet treats and good food. And i'm sure it's dribbled and left a nasty mess on the bottom of your oven! Then, instead of enjoying the good treats, your stuck cleaning and scrubbing all day.

So if you have an oven that looks anything like mine haha then your definitely going to need some help!

There are two cleaning options on the product. One for heated oven cleaning and one for cold. I chose to do the cold oven cleaning. The directions were as follows: Spray in cold oven wearing heavy gloves (such as the yellow dish gloves). Liberally spread newspaper under the oven door and surrounding area to protect floor. For ease of application, remove oven racks and clean separately. Hold can upright, point it away from your face, spray surfaces from a distance of 9-12 inches. Make sure pointed arrow is aligned  with black dot. Spray top of oven first then spray sides and bottom. After application close oven door. Allow foam to work 5-10 minutes then wipe clean with cloth or sponge, rinsing frequently. For heavily soiled areas allow to work longer. After use, rinse spray button thoroughly and drain excess water. Replace cap promptly.

Seems like a lot but i'm sure many of you have used oven spray before and can properly store your cleaners to make sure no animals or children can get to them. I also strongly recommend wearing a face mask if you have allergies or are sensitive to harsh cleaners.

Here is what my oven looked like before I sprayed it with the Easy Off.



Not as bad as it could be but not so clean either lol I have definitely been slacking on the oven cleaning. So I sprayed and waited the 5 minutes.......I did not have the big yellow gloves so I used some disposable ones that I had in my work bag! Always wear gloves when using cleaning chemicals such as this!

    

It worked extremely well! All I had to do was wipe most of it! There were a few heavier spots that I had to use some elbow grease on but for the most part it was the easiest and fastest time I had ever cleaned my oven!



Looks almost brand new! I was very impressed at how fast and easy it really was and even more surprised at myself for switching to a more frugal product. I used less of the Easy Off then I do of the other product and this took less time! So guess who's switching back to Easy Off? I loved it so much that I even used it on my stove top where there was built up grease and it worked just as good for that!

However I did not like that it was not the fume free and will not purchase unless it is. The chemicals were very powerful and I should have wore a face mask while using it.

Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes Review

I had the chance to try the Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand wipes free through Smiley360 in return for my honest and unbiased opinion of the product.

I have heard about the Wet Ones brand but had never tried them before so i wasn't sure what to expect.

The travel pack was nice. It was perfect for fitting in the glove box or in a backpack such as my sons... I didn't get a chance to try them personally because he stole them and put them in his bag for school lol He did, however, tell me that they worked very well and that he used them all the time in his classroom. Especially right before lunch or when doing an art project. He said it got all the "goo" off his hands and made them feel really clean!

I liked the box of single packs the best! They are small enough that you can toss them into your purse or glove box for easy use. I work in healthcare so i also dropped a few in my work bag. They are very convenient for me to use. I can just grab one out, open up the little package and wipe my hands. Now i'm not saying these are a permanent hand cleanser because nothing truly cleans your hands like hand washing. But in a pinch they are great!



The tub was easy to use. You just pop open the top and pull out a wipe and wipe your hands. They have a lemon scent that smelled really good! I put the tub of wipes by the door so that everyone coming in and out could wipe their hands and possibly keep germs from spreading on the doorknob ect. But I later decided that the kitchen was the best place for the tub to be.

I really did like the wipes for the convenience of them. I feel they worked at killing some of the germs on my hands. I do not feel that they should be used to replace hand washing but for a fast easy fix they are perfect.

The only thing I didn't like about the wipes is that they didn't clean under my fingernails as well as hand washing would. It wasn't hard to get the wipes under them, I just felt they didn't clean very well.

All in all I really enjoyed trying the Wet Ones brand wipes and will continue to purchase them! I would definitely recommend them to others as something to use between hand washing! They are great for kids to use and a great way to help keep germs at bay!

Scotties Tissue Review

I received Scotties brand tissue free through Smiley360 in return for my honest opinion!

I received a full box of Scotties Tissues to try out. I have always purchased another product but have seen Scotties brand before, just hadn't purchased



I want my tissues strong and durable. I don't want to blow my nose and the tissue break. Not only is that gross but unhealthy as well. A person wants something that works well.

While trying these new tissues I never felt that the brand had any less quality then other high end products. It held up when I needed it to and was actually very soft.

I loved the color and design on the box! Purple is one of my favorites! Other colors and designs are available!

I don't like when a tissue product irritates my nose. So I was impressed with the fact that Scotties was soft enough not to dry out and irritate that sensitive part of my face.

I went to purchase some more and was pleased with the price. I think the price is very reasonable for the quality you receive.

I still love my normal brand but I will purchase Scotties brand when I'm unable to get my normal! I would recommend Scotties to others!
