I grew up without cable but survived. We just got cable a fee years ago and it has been nice but the bill never is. This looks like a great device to watch a nice variety of channels and not break the bank doing it.
ReplyDeleteIt really is! I feel like cable is so over rated and way over priced. I get all my local channels plus much more.
DeleteWe have cable but it's so expensive! We're looking to cut back on cable this year and the Mohu Leaf Glide may be just what we need!
ReplyDeleteOur cable bill, just for the basic of all basics was over $200. With the Leaf Glide we actually get channels that our cable made us pay extra for or didn't offer at all!
DeleteEveryone is getting these different services and I am over here like - Heyyyy what's new on cable. LOL! Although, I have to say, I do watch Netflix heavily (if I want to watch something but at all)... I think whenever my husband and I move, we may look into other options!
ReplyDeleteI love Netflix! We use it a lot at our House too. Most of what you watch on cable can be found there for much much less. The Leaf Glide also gives us all the local channels so we don't feel like we are missing out on anything!
DeleteWow that's revolutionary. Yes cable is so expensive. I wonder if this is available in Singapore too?
ReplyDeleteI checked and it states that there is a location but it's more than 60 miles away. I'm not sure about the shipping but would be something I could check on for you if you're interested!
DeleteI stopped watching tv years ago and I haven't paid for cable in years. This looks like a great product for people who do want to save money on their monthly expenses.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I'm learning extremely quickly that I have wasted so much money over the years.
DeleteI started getting used to not watching TV ever since high school. My Mom is quite uptight she believe it will suffer our schooling. But each time we did good things, she allows us to watch a movie in DVD.
DeleteEventually I realized, my Mom is just saving money and not wasting it to paying cable. :)
This looks great. Thank you for this. We are looking to cut the cord next year. I just bookmarked this. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Please update me on how your process goes and how much you are saving. I love to hear people's money saving adventures ☺
DeleteI'm not ready! I see so much about cutting the cord of cable, but I just can't do it! It's nice to see so many products coming on the market that are making that (somewhat) inevitable decision a little easier for me :)
ReplyDeleteCutting the cord may not be for everyone and I appreciate your honesty ☺ If you do decide later to cut the cord, I would love to hear your process and what your pros and cons are!
DeleteMy father in law just cut the cable so we got him an antenna and a Roku. We have Roku Tv and love it.
ReplyDeleteWe actually cut the cord on cable years ago! I do miss some of the shows but we love our netflix now.
ReplyDeleteI think the Mohu Leaf Glide would be something my mom could benefit from. She doens't have cable where she lives and would enjoy local channels.
ReplyDeleteOh cool, this sounds like something I need to try. I plan on cutting off cable soon.
ReplyDeleteI actually love cable TV but this article makes sense. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI really miss the days when TV was just easy, you plugged it in and whatever was out there you got. What to get, what package, what else, so many choices make things so complicated.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an interesting piece of tech! It's a shame this isn't in the UK yet! I wonder when it will arrive... x
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to read about this HDTV indoor antenna.Wow !It's interesting to know that Mohu is great for traveling too...
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an interesting way to watch TV, I love the fact it means you don't have to be paying out so much.
ReplyDeleteI just recently cut the cord but I'm in a very rural area with and can only receive 3 channels with an HD antenna. I chose to go with the Roku and am considering the Amazon Fire Stick. Richard B
ReplyDeleteCool, it's like a modern day antennae! This looks like a great alternative to the in-television one that doesn't work very well.
ReplyDeleteWe are fortunate in the UK that our cable options are many and cheap but this looks like a great option for others
ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to save money on cable. It can be so expensive to pay for monthly. I am going to have to check this out.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really interesting. I am going to have to learn more about it and try it for myself.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is so cool! We pay a little over $100/month for dish, and we have WAY too many channels for what we pay for.
ReplyDeleteCable is so expensive! I will check out Mohu Leaf.
ReplyDeleteI love this concept! The Hubby and I have been considering cutting the cable chord for some time. I love how this can be applied to a window and stay out of the way.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! Cable can be SOOOO expensive and sometimes there's not much on anyways! This looks like a great way to experience more entertainment at a cheaper cost!
ReplyDeleteIn Dubai, we have 3-4 cable operators and we can choose only from them. This sounds like an awesome cable, I need to check if we can get it here or not.
ReplyDeleteThe Mohu Leaf Glide sounds fantastic. I am glad that you can get all the important channels and that the picture quality is still fantastic as well!
ReplyDeleteThat's cool that the Mohu Leaf Glide does so much. I just know that it doesn't offer many of the things that I have gotten used to watching on Cable. Maybe someday I consider it instead. But for now I am sticking with the cable.
ReplyDeleteI have Sling TV and Netflix witch is great, but I need local channels. My antenna is not the best and I was already looking for a good replacement. I'm glad I read this when I did!
ReplyDeleteThis looks cools and easy to install. I wonder if this will work at home.
ReplyDeleteCable was one of the tings that we kicked a while ago. This looks like it would be worth a try.
ReplyDeleteWe have seriously been toying with the idea to get rid of cable but it has me. I wonder if this could be it for me.
