Those of you who know me personally are aware of how often I hurt. Dealing with Rheumatoid Arthritis is not a fun adventure I was wanting to take in my lifetime. I deal with pain on a daily basis and sometimes it's hard for me to even get up in the mornings. Being in healthcare, there are people who depend on me to be the best I can be so that I am able to fully care for their family members. So finding something that will truly work on my pain is essential.

I have tried many different pain patches, ointments and medications that say they will help but only mask some of the pain but not the bigger picture. I recently was blessed with the opportunity to try Comfrey Plus Pain relief Ointment. Here is a little about the product:

My thoughts:

I have only been using this product for a few days now and have only applied it to my lower back to see if I could feel any difference in the levels of pain I have throughout my body. It doesn't take a whole lot in order to cover the area that I was concerned most about. It was easy to apply and absorbed fast. It's easy to wash off when your done applying with your hands and has a natural smell to it that isn't like other products. This is a pleasant scent that wont burn your nose when you smell it. I appreciated that aspect very much!

I love how this is all natural and I can read and understand all the ingredients that it contains. The ointment has a green tint to it and a pleasant scent from the oils in it's contents. However as a warning to those with a peanut allergy, this does contain nut oil.

Once the ointment was on, it took a few minutes for it to start working. I didn't feel any burning or that "cold" feeling one would get from other products. I didn't notice any difference at first but after a while I noticed that my back wasn't hurting as much. Yes, I sill had pain but it had eased to a dull ache instead of feeling like my back was going to break in half.

After a few days I have noticed a decrease in my overall back pain and feel like I have more mobility. I still hit the snooze button in the mornings but I have a little more bounce in my step after I'm up!

I wouldn't say that this is a miracle cream that will heal everything up, but it definitely beats the other brands of products I have used in the past. I haven't had any ill side effects or rashes and enjoy not having to smell those overpowering patches on my back. I will keep using this on my joints and my back as a natural pain reducer instead of the more medically enhanced products on the market.
