When I told my son I was receiving the Space Scouts program package, he was so excited! He loves to learn new things, especially when it comes to space!
Space Scouts is a 12 week program that includes lots of learning material and fun toys for the kiddos! My son was able to try the first 2 weeks of this program. The first thing he noticed was the awesome lunchbox in the package. He told me that "Now he doesn't have to take those boring brown bags to school. He had this cool lunchbox!"
I really like that this is educational to the kids who participate in the program. Yet it's a fun experience so they don't think about the learning aspect of it! It comes with everything you need for that week including the workbooks and the toys.
Every week you get a new magnet to add either to the fridge or put on the lunchbox. You also get a sticker to add to the poster for your child's wall and a neat little figurine! I know my son got really excited and wanted to do both weeks all at once. I had to slow him down and tell him to learn the first week before getting ahead of the program.
This is a great fun way to get your kids interested in space and everything that it entails! I would recommend this to anyone who has children as a fun summer program you can do right at home! This would also be great for a teacher to incorporate into your schedule!
