Our babies health is very important. Keeping them loved, safe and warm is our number one priority. When they are sick we do our very best to make sure they are kept comfortable. When my children were young and stuffed up, all I had was one of those manual suction Aspirators that helped some but didn't do much as to clearing up their nasal passage so they could breathe. I'm not saying that they don't help at all....but if you have ever used one, you understand exactly what I'm talking about. They just aren't sufficient enough to do much good.

We all want to make sure that our babies can breathe properly. Baby Health Care, Inc makes it easy to do this with the BabySmile S-502 Nasal Aspirator.

Here are some examples of what may cause blocked airways and cause congestion in our infants.

Nose blowing skills:

Of course, when you're a baby, you haven't quite learned how to blow your nose yet. So, as a parent, we have to take the initiative to do it for them. Suctioning out the extra mucus helps to clear that passageway so they can breathe clearly.

Irritants:

Air quality can be a huge factor. If you smoke or have poor air quality in your home, this could ultimately be a cause into why your baby stays stopped up. Allergens wreak havoc on us adults, just imagine what it could do to an infant who is still in the first stages of life. Their immune system is still developing.
RSV:

If mucus just doesn't seem to subside no matter what you try and your baby is more irritable than normal, you might want to have them checked out by your Pediatrician. It could be an infection.

Anatomy:

Anatomy plays a key role in the way our babies breathe. The nasal passage can become swollen and can cause mucus to build up. Using a nasal aspirator like the BabySmile S-502, can help keep that mucus at bay.

What can we as parents do to help ease some of the mucus and make our babies more comfortable? When they are congested, parents can help by keeping them elevated so that the mucus can filter out instead of staying in the nasal canal. Suctioning out the excess mucus with a device such as the BabySmile Nasal Aspirator helps to relieve the pressure and making it easier for the baby to breath. If you have a humidifier, this puts moisture into the air and can help clear a stuffy nose. Essential oils such as Eucalyptus oil in an oil diffuser can also be helpful. Do your research.. because not all essential oils are created the same. Most importantly is LOVE. A parents' love is a cure-all for an uncomfortable baby. Hugs and kisses are the best!

Product Description
BabySmile S-502 is a hospital grade electronic nasal aspirator. Your baby's stuffy nose will be cleared instantly with its powerful suction. Just press the "ON" button to experience nasal care like never before! ****NOTE: If the suction does not work, This mostly happens due to the air gap between parts (especially between canister and canister cover). The user would need to check that motor sound is heard and there is any suction pressure FROM the motor side (the other side of canister parts). When you separate the parts, there is a hole at the motor side. You could check the air pressure using finger or hand.

  5. We simply can not ignore the feelings of our little baby. They were helpless and must anticipate everything before the situation gets worse.

  6. This is so important for the little ones. So many things can invade their tiny little nasal passages, and lungs. I was just shopping for an adult sized product similar to this for our allergies!
