Tips: • The Ozeri Precision Digital Bathroom Scale will auto-calibrate once when it is first used and after each time the scale detects that it has been picked up or moved to another location. As part of this calibration process, please disregard the first weight reading, step off the scale and allow it to turn off. This will complete the calibration process. You can then step back on the scale. • The Ozeri Precision Digital Bathroom Scale is a finely tuned electronic instrument. One of the hardest things to weigh is the human body because there is always subtle motion.
To ensure reliable readings, always try to place your feet on the scale in the same place each time and remain still. • Note that your body weight will vary based on hydration, clothing, and other factors. This scale rounds to the nearest 100 grams. When slight variances occur, it is recommended to average your weight over several weigh-ins. • Do not use the scale on a carpet or uneven surface. • To avoid damage to this scale, do not attempt to exceed the weight limit and do not store any items on this scale when not in use. I really like this Ozeri scale. It's sleek and the black matches everything in my bathroom.
The scale came with everything that I needed to start up. All I had to do was place the battery in the bottom and make sure the measurement was on pounds.
It's very thin and doesn't take up a lot of space on the floor. When I stepped on the scale, the digital area lit up with large numbers that were easy to read. I really like that feature because there are people in the house that can't see all that well. This scale makes it easy for them to read it! I also like that I didn't have to step up far in order to get on it. Having something low helps to prevent tripping and falling.
It has a very large capacity for as thin as the scale is. It can hold up to 400 pounds, which is above average for other scales I have used, which only have a 300 pound capacity.
Although this is a pretty bathroom scale, I do wish that it had a memory feature built into it. I think that having that feature would enhance the scale. I also noticed that it didn't give the same weight each time I stepped on it. It would differ between 2-4 pounds even when I had just weighed myself a few seconds earlier.
