Not all knife sharpeners are created equal! This Priority Chef Knife Sharpener is different then the many other knife sharpeners available on the market today. Most sharpeners will create a typical 'V' shaped finish. This Priority Chef Knife Sharpener model PC-KN02 will create a concave shaped finish to your knife, giving an extra sharpness that most other sharpeners can't compete with.

Ergonomically designed handle and non slip base.
This stylish knife sharpener's handle has been designed to fit comfortably when in use allowing you a good firm grip and has a soft, cushioned non-slip base under that stylish steel base!

2 stage knife sharpening system
Priority Chef's professionally designed advanced knife sharpener has 2 stages that can transform any straight edged knife to a new level of sharpness that almost any professional chef would be proud of. Stage 1 uses Tungsten carbide blades and should only be used for the dullest of knives. About 3-4 pulls through this section will prepare you knife shape for the next step. Stage 2 uses 2 ceramic wheels that will give your knife a high quality finish and a razor like edge

Please note: This knife sharpener is not suitable for serrated or ceramic knives.

When I Got the opportunity to try the Priority Chef Knife Sharpener I was ecstatic!! It seemed that every time I went into the kitchen to use a knife, they were all dull and would never cut through anything. There is nothing worse then trying to prepare a meal without a decent working knife.

With the help of my husband, we went through the entire kitchen and grabbed every flat knife we could find so that we could get them all sharpened! ( He did most of the work! :) )

We set the sharpener on the counter, both looked at each other, and said "ok" lets do this!
The handle was very easy to grip and the entire sharpener stayed in place without sliding all over the counter. This is good when working with knives lol

The directions state to bring your knife 3-4 times through section 1 first, so that you can properly shape the knife! Some of our knives were already shaped so we skipped this part. It worked extremely well on the ones that were not already shaped or that were so dull that the shaping was gone.

Step 2 was to pull the knife through the ceramic section to sharpen. Now I would have to say that if your knives just need a bit of sharpening, that this process wouldn't take very long at all. The way our knives were, it took a bit longer. But in the end the results were amazing!

This product is very easy to use, has a great grip and wont move around when trying to sharpen your knives. It sharpened every straight edge knife we had in our kitchen as if they were brand new!
I would recommend this to anyone who has the same issue we had, with every knife in the kitchen being dull. I would also recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their knives sharp and ready for that next meal! I also feel that the price the company is asking is very reasonable for the quality product you receive!
